New GoPro video from Hawaii
Here's the video I cut together from recent trip to Maui. This is the first shooting I'd done while diving with the GoPro. I know a couple things I'll do different next time.
Enjoy either way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blr5...ature=youtu.be |

I was upgrading all my apple devices to os Yosemite and iOS 8.1 and could not watch the video until now. Awesome video Jeff. I'm jelly. Hopefully I get to experience something like that in my visit to the Philippines this year.

Very nice and thanks for sharing.
I don't remember there being that much coral when I was living and diving while on Oahu. Apparently I was too busy looking at fish.

I remember all the schools of triggers and how rad that was to see in person.

Molokini's crescent shape protects divers from waves and the channel's powerful currents. However, experienced scuba divers will also drift dive off the 300 feet (91 m) sheer outer wall, using the channel currents to carry them along.
The crater houses a lush reef with excellent visibility as deep as 150 feet (46 m). Molokini is home to about 250 species of fish, many endemic (see Ecology below). The best conditions occur in early morning.[4] Ref- Wikipedia |

Did you encounter any reef Sharks? I am afraid of them even though I grew up swimming in Manila bay. I never seen one while swimming.

I did see one white tip in a cave during that video.

There was two white tips in the cave, we did have to go looking for them.
What scared me more was that large black eel. It doesn't look like it in the video, but it was about the same diameter as my thigh. I saw the tail sticking out on the other side of that big rock. That was as close as I was willing to get. The white tips don't concern me, I dive in Monterey and the common saying there is "you don't have to out swim the Great White, just out swim your dive partner" |

Brandon, please stop telling these secrets. I'll never get Hugo in the water. He still thinks it's good luck for new divers to fill the wetsuit with BBQ sauce

@Bryan. I have a hero 2. The price was right for one to try. If I upgrade, I'd definitely go with one that has a LCD screen to watch what I filmed. Other than that I'm happy.
