Not only is the tank beautiful but it seems to fit the theme you have going in the living room. The aquascaping just fits the style of the room perfectly! Very well done! Im a big fan of the "less is more" type of thinking! Excellent job!

Sorry for the late response, I am using a SE 400w 20k Radium bulb on a PFO HQI ballast. I downsized my lighting as well and trying a simple setup approach.

I think my favorite thing about the tank is that from some angles, it truly reminds me of the ocean. I love dropoffs and descending walls looking at corals on the way down. It really reminds me of that. This and Steve Weasts give me more of a diving feel than any other tank I've ever seen.

this is breath-taking !!! i don't think i've seen any aquascape concept more beautiful than this one. the contour, the balance - it's a sculpture of liverock of lives ! btw, the photo showing the sunray hitting the tank casting a shadow on the wall - the rockwork transforms into a beautiful bonzai tree. beautiful

I don't think I'm worthy enough to be up there with Steve Weast but i appreciate that dude! I was born and grew up in Hawaii so i guess that helped out some.

WOW! Absolutely incredible! It is obvious that an immense amount of thought went into the aquascape. Very Asian inspired.

Your tank looks great!!!

xtm, Yes i cut those streams so it can fan out more i feel it works well in a 36x36 tank.

drouner, They are Kaelini Tonga, not the branch kind. I hand picked them from a tub at my LFS.
