Talking My Clowns Just Hosted My GBTA!!

Just had to announce. Literally, ten minutes after I turned out the lights and my Oscellaris pair just dove in. I had the anemone for about two weeks. Just had to announce to the people who would understand the happiness! Will post pics in the afternoon when the MH fires up!

I concur with most people on here, that there is not much you can do to expedite the hosting. I tried the flashlight trick at night, didn't work at all. Didn't even try to do the picture on the glass trick. Just be patient, mine took about two weeks, not too bad! However, my female keeps chasing my male away from the anemone, so hopefully she will settle down.

lol well what I did is when I was putting the anemone in, I took it out of the bag and held it in my hand...then i stuck it in the tank right in front of the female clown and she immediately jumped in and then started attacking my hand to let go.

you can try getting some mysis or brine in a turkey baster and feeding a little bit to the clowns near the nem and slowly lure them towards it and when theyr close squirt some brine on the nem's tentacles and hope they dive in after the food.
