For those currently enrolled in the EcoSmart Live BETA platform, please note that a major update was released today.

In order to continue use of ES Live, those users will need to download and install the new connection manager (located on the ES Live site).

I just downloaded the download manager but always have a error window " could not find a valid Java virtual machine to load. you may need to reinstall Java virtual machine " on both of my laptops. The Java is version 7 and I had tested tat they are Java enabled.
What should I do?

This is almost always a result of having 32bit Java installed on 64bit Windows.

http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/downlo...BundleId=68736

Try using that direct link to download and install the 64bit version of Java.

Probably the best thing is to check and see if Windows is 32 or 64bit. Instructions to do so: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...ked-questions#

If it is 64bit, you will need to explicitly download the 64bit of Java. http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/downlo...BundleId=68736

Hi Jon, I finally got it. Hope these info helps. Not sure if it is my laptop or others have the same problem. Been meddling with both lappies for almost 3hrs and finally move ahead.

Installed 32bit java to 32bit laptop but still won't work, still has the same virtual machine error.
Installed 64bit java to 64bit laptop and it works! Actually this time round I tried uninstall all Java from both laptops n reinstall again.

But come the next part... when the Live connection manager is launched, I got invalid login credentials when trying to log into Ecosmart Live. I am able to login into the browser though using same email & password.

1) When I launched the Live manager without connecting the radion, it shows a message that no radion connected and when a radion is connected, a msg shows radion connected.
2) When I log on through the browser, it shows "CONNECTED" momentarily and goes disconnected.
3) The "getting started" window's "CLOSE" widget is not working. Only clicking the "cross" button will then close the "getting started" window.

I get the same error message "invalid login credentials" when I click Login from the Connection Manager icon on my Mac desktop Menu Bar or via the http://test.ecosmartlive.com/ which I noticed I was being redirected to after installing the Connection Manager software update.

But I am able to login fine via http://ecosmartlive.com/

Same thing happens to me. Now I can't even go back to the old ecosmart program and program them because it freezes as soon as I click any point on the graph and the it doesn't respond at all.

I know they were to updated live manager today. Not sure if they did or not.
They are aware of this.

I having multiple issues on the site :

1. unable to export graph in ETG but instead it is xml format
2. the Radion group is in light grey as shown below
3. I tried to run the refresh devices , it is shown as Device connection and taking forever to retrieving device details .
4. unable to enable the function :Travelling Sunrise/Sunset even though layout have been set.
5. After setting the layout , the graph will go missing after the page refreshes

Do you still have to hook the cable up for the new live version? I thought it was suppose to be able to work with a iphone once it comes out but it seems people are using the cable.

It keeps reverting back to 5am and 6pm.

I had this exact same problem. I would set the graph how I wanted it and it would revert back. What you need to do is set the graph how you want it and then click export to save it as a graph, then save the program as well. This will keep your settings. Once you open back up your software again, just use the import button if the same graph isn't already there.

Radion Pro? Have mercy, just as I install the TIR lens and already I'm behind. lol

Hopefully it won't be long, who doesn't want this program on the new iphone?

Did you send an email to the beta team? They have been good with figuring out issues.
