Sanjay,
Damn fine looking clownfish! I had been meaning to contact you about a pair or 2 or 3 - lol. Then low and behold tonight there was a pair in the DD. I knew not to keep shopping to fill my cart or I would loss them. Just think this pair was born in NY went to see OH and now are headed to TX. Can't Wait |

I thought you were PA but for some reason I was thinking about a reef club in NY.
Ofcourse this goes to prove my rule - Dont drink and type. I hate rules. Hey how many pairs did you send DD? Is this the first pair they have sold? Can we expect them to sell some more? Thanks Again Last edited by TXChewy; 04/17/2009 at 09:05 PM. |

I hope this is not considered a selling post.. since all I am doing is documenting the clownfish. These were sent to DD several months ago, and I had not seen how they had developed until just now.
I am very interested in keeping track of how they develop, so whoever ended up with these fish.. please keep posting pictures. sanjay. |

Looks like somebody gave these clowns a name
Black Photon-What a name... Black as in out of the visible spectrum? Ultra high frequency gamma ray or low frequency radio waves?

Sanjay, I saw a pair of your fish for sale on Diver's Den @ L.A. Did you contact them to sell them, or did they go through another channel and end up there? If you don't want to post such info in this thread I understand, but if you could PM me I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing the info on how you brought these fish up. |

PHOTON - from the ongoing ribbing I take from my friends who have labeled me the PHOTON MAN due to all my lighting work and presentations. They took it far enough that PHOTON MAN made to the cover of a reef magazine. Hence my fun name for these fish - BLACK PHOTONS Black clownfish hybrids raised by the PHOTON MAN. sanjay. |

Just kidding Sanjay , please don't be offended.
Some of the names "we" call the corals are just out of this world sometime. Your explanation seem to make lots of sense. Your works on the light are great and very useful. Thanks

Are these two hosting anything?
The reason I ask is because of any color loss they might have from hosting an anemone. I remember some people saying that their onyx would lose their color when hosting bta's but if removed the anemone the onyx color would come back. I also want a pair of these. What was the price you saw on LA? Are you selling any of these direct Sanjay? |

The mother which is a true onyx, is hosting in a RBTA and has not lost any black color. I am not selling direct. The only ones that ever got sold direct were at a Manhattan Frag swap. sanjay. |

Just check divers den. That is where I got mine, and they have a pair every 3-4 days.
I heard that the male had died Sanjay? Is this not true or just hype to up the value? |
