Tunze 6095 Issue
I recently purchased a 6095. My issue is it has a load hum when at 100% power. When it drops back to 35% it does not produce any noise. I have a 6105, and a 6055 currently running and they don't produce any noise. The only major difference is the new mounting system on the 6095. Is there something I should look for to address this issue?
Thanks in advance. Sean Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I just got a new 6095 as well, and it is generally much louder than my older 6095 at any speed. Its a hum/rattle
Only difference I see is the mount. Following along to see what to check for. |

You can generally expect any pump to be noisier for the first couple weeks, air bubbles trapped in the impeller well and parts wearing in are the main cause, as a general rule we expect a 50% reduction in noise after 2 weeks and a further 50% after 2 months. The only moving part is the impeller, if noise persists past the break in phase. It will be the impeller that is the cause. A 6095 should have about the same noise level as a 6105 but a 6055 would be quieter.

Ok, I will keep an ear on it to see if it in fact decreases. Thanks for the response.
