float switches

I have a JBJ ATO, been using it for years, question is can the float switch quit working. I find that the float switch in the sump will not shut off then it's turn on.

Last year this happen and my solution was to change the float switches around, reservoir switch to sump. Now I have the same problem.

Float switch regularly maintained.

Don't gamble on this. Replacing a pair of float switches now is way cheaper than a flood when they fail. Easy decision. I don't trust float switches or valves at all, or anything else that needs to move near the surface of the water, for that matter. Failure due to corrosion and/or creep is inevitable.
