duncan coral placement
i just got a duncan coral and wanted to know if u think this placement for it is good.
it has moderate flow its about 12 inches away from the t5ho 4x54 idk if its happy cuz i just got it so.... |

I have mine in a little bit of higher flow and it does great. It's about mid tank. Here's a picture....

I have the same lighting wattage as your tank I use ATI bulbs. 2 blue atinics, a purple ,and a day light . My duncans are in the middle of the tank now with good to high flow.They went from 3 heads to 7. Feed then thawed frozen cyclopeez...

as I understand, their native habitat is lagoons where its relativeley calm, slightly turbid and they grow from the substrate
I have mine in the sandbed and its going great-guns.....

Mine has grown about 4 heads that I can see since I got it a month ago. The only problem I have is a vermetid snail on the piece that irritates it... I gotta cut him off
