Your thread is such a treat, thank you for all your hard work documenting your build.
I'm sure that everyone extremely anxious to find out your ideas about the new tank that you would be building. Can you elaborate on what you are looking for? What size? Rough dimensions? Anything else that you plan to do differently now that you've had all this experience with this cube (I can't think of a single thing). Cheers! |

I know Herbie overflow worked well for you as it does for me too, but why don't you try a C2C with a Beananimal next!?

Hi Dennis,
Your thread has been the ultimate treat to read...your contemporary and beautiful cube design has served much inspiration for my own reef I'm planning. While I unfortunately don't have room in my condo for a 130g cube, I am planning a 60g cube rimless reef modeled after many of your design principles. Everything is tentatively planned and ready for purchase -- with the exception of a stand. Quite honestly your stand is bar-none the nicest I have ever seen. I'm shocked that the local-area Houston reefer who built it for you isn't a full-time furniture builder. His work is beautiful! Everything from the stain to the way the aquarium recesses into the stand is exquisite. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing the contact information of your stand builder in addition to about how much you paid? I would be very interested in having him/her build a very similar stand for my own setup. Thank you! |

This thread was my primary inspiration for my current build. I copied your stand design, and even planning the radions over top, LOL! One of my favorite builds!

Hi Dennis, I hope you had a good move and the family is doing great. My 60g cube was put on hold since i sold my house and rented a new house but was not allowed an aquarium. Well im moving into a new house and project is back on track. Ultimately, I'm posting to bump your build thread... still the best build thread i have seen!!
