chalice Turning White

I have a large 3g mummy eye chalice that has some white discoloration on one edge of the coral, less than 10%. The coral seems otherwise healthy. The coral is on the bottom of the tank elevated on a Alternative Reef Frag Station Rock Little Uns. The porting that is unhealthy is close to the glass in the front of the tank. I have had the coral for well over a year and it has more tripped in size. The chalice has no where else to encrust on the rock it is on, its covered the plug its on 100%.

My other chalices are doing fine even growing more eyes.
I have what seems to be healthy growth with almost all my other corals.

What lights are you using and have you changed that in any way or intensified the lighting in your system. It sounds like bleaching .

Pictures would be a great help. Some of my chalices' growth on the edges is white and will color up with time.

I bleached a HW stunner when upgrading my LED lights, took forever to even start coloring up again. 2 months later and its still not 100% back. Doesn't take much sometimes to cause some bleaching.

Is it white because skeleton is showing (tissue death)? Or is there still flesh present (bleaching)?
