squareback anthias
well I started with 1 male and 3 females....now I am down to 1 female with popeye and the male. (the first female died right away, harrassed bad by others, 2nd jumped out of tank.)
I'm worried if this female doesn't get better with meds for popeye, is it terrible to have the male alone before I can find additional females? Will he become more aggressive? He kinda already bullies all the other fish smaller than him. The male looks great, nice and fat. I was surprised to find the female with popeye yesterday, she is still eating, but pretty much staying in the rock work until feeding time. Worried that she might not make it but pulling for her to get through. |

Any way you can get her out of there and give her some time alone. The stress from the other fish isn't going to help her get any better. I would also start soaking food items in Beta Glucon to help boost her immune system.
