Coral treatment prior to introduction.

Please recommend products I can use to dip corals prior to introducing them in to my tank. I know there are different ones for different corals, parasites, etc. I'm going to lean towards SPS but recommend the product you believe is a must.

Thanks

I use Coral Rx as well. Also can't go wrong with Revive. Just follow the instructions closely and your corals (and rest of the tank) will thank you.

On a related note, do you dip all types of corals (SPS, LPS, softies)?

everything gets a close inspection and dip in ReVive before it goes in my tank (softies, non photo, LPS and SPS)

if it's an acropora it also gets a major scrubbing of the base for potential AEFW eggs and very concentrated dose of interceptor for potential red bugs

Search for a thread called something like "another option for red bugs".

Once you find it, read all of it, then make your choice for dips. I will never buy another aquarium product for a dip after using what is talked about in that thread.

this thread is a very important read. Highly recommended if you are keeping SPS.
