I used 4 eye hooks screwed to the top of my canopy, and I have 4 adjustable wires that circle through the screw in clips the radion came with. 3 bucks, home depot. Done! I also just bought the hanging kits they sell as well.

This might be late but I put hooks (home depot) in the top of the canopy and ran picture wire through the eyes of the Radion screws. Then I just slipped the wires over the hooks. Has been working great for some time now. This was suggested to me in another thread.

[QUOTE=fastrd400;20271473]This is what I came out with.
Side rails mounted on the inside over the top of 5" variable speed fans. The wire channels run across the top over to another side rail mounted in the same location. ![]() ![]() The lights are held up with stainless 5mm screws and are able to slide left and right in the channels as a unit. The two channels also are able to slide front to rear in the side railing allowing for easier access getting things in or out of the tank. Hi fastrd400, If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy those screws and how long? Also, how are you able to screw it in if one side is screw in already. Just bought the rail but can't seem to find the screw. Thanks. |

slide mounts
Ahoy there Fastrd400,
What did you use for the mounts inside of the tracks for sliders at the top of the screws.? I like this design and am going to use it in my canopy. I was wondering what you used to make this plate to slide in the track. Thanks for a cool design. Imitation is the highest form of flattery!! LOL Thanks Captain Smitty |
