Hey,
Each time when I make a new saltwater aquarium I use a type of silicon from Bison named Silicone Glass. It is transparent, saltwater resistant, very elastic, has UV resistance and is easy to apply. Let it dry for five or six days and never ever had problems with corals, fish, filtration and so on. |

Sometimes I use it to glue dry rock together or fix the PVC pipe

What material are your baffles?
What material is the sump? How much time can you wait for it to cure? "Best" depends on details that need to be defined
