Blue Dotted Puffer
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=232
I am considering to buy the blue dotted puffer. Right now my tank only has nemo, fire fish, scooter blenny and mandarin goby. I am thinking of adding Majestic Angel, Harlequin Tusk and clown Trigger. Pros? Cons?

I have a blue dot theyt are very cool but he will probably kill the firefish along with possibly the mandarin, he might also pick on the blenny. The tusk and the Clown Trigger also would not be compatible with what you already have. The majestic is a great choice if you maintain excellent parameters.

IMO they are very docile, in fact he will probablly get bullied by the tusk and trigger

I would be much more worried about having that clown trigger in with the small fish.
The puffer is docile but certainly gets his food. They are surprisingly apt swimmers. He should be able to hold his own against the angel and tusk (I have my blue spot in with a Blueface angel in a 55gal QT), but I see the trigger as a big problem (for most of the fish, not just the puffer). |
