Identify snail
I am new to the saltwater community and found this hitchhiking snail on some liverock. Trying to search for the kind but not too sure. Is it a sundial snail? It’s about 1 1/2-2mm

Just noticed that you said 1 1/2 - 2 mm. That small might be a sundial. But I’m not 100%

It's not a sundial, they're shaped more like Gary the Snail from Spongebob. When a sundial moves, its shell stands upright rather than laying to one side.

Trochus sp. is a good call, it does exhibit multiple 'feelers' on either side.

I can't ID it, but it looks to be trochoid. It's not a sundial or any other bad guy. It's probably a Calliostoma, but I don't know of one with the broad brown bands and white chords that cross them.

You have 100 that have the white chords crossing the brown flammules?
