Calcium reator feed pump
Ok need info on how you guys feed your CaRx, I was using the aqualifter, but not 100% reliable drip rate. I tried the manifold but it still wasnt 100%, currently i am using a maxijet that i modded to fit 1/4 tubing and has 2 outlets to release the extra flow, best so far.
Anyone use a peristaltic pump? Or what have you found to be the most reliable? Anthony

Calcium reator feed pump
Can't beat a good Cole parmer masterflex. Rock solid peristaltic pump. This, coupled with a carbon doser regulator makes the calrx as reliably adjustable as a 2 part dosing system

I have been using an Eheim 1048. Had one that ran my GEO618 for 4 years until I sold it, and it ran for the guy I sold it to until he took the CA RX off line. I bought a new one for my GEO818 and have ran that one 4 years so far.

You know your reactors. The recirc pump on the 618 was indeed a 1048 as well. Kind of why I used one for the feed too, in case I needed a backup. The recirc pump on the 818 is a Panworld 40px.
