New Guineafowl Puffer
U have had a new guineafowl puffer for about 9 days... I saw him eat at the store but he will not eat.. He's swimming around active, sniffs the food but will not eat..... Nobody is bothering him.... Any suggestions?

Have you tried any live food? Ghost shrimps or even guppies. Sometimes fresh seafood from market also would entice them.

The live food you mentioned should get him going, try a clam also. Freeze for 24 hrs then thaw. Maybe a lil Garlic Guard on the food. Let us know the outcome.

Warning on the wooden skewer. I dont know how big his puffer is, and size of skewer. I would use a stainless fork to feed puffers. Stay away from plastic forks also. You dont want them biting a piece off and swallowing. My puffers will bite the forks so hard, they have left marks in them. GL

They take up to 2 weeks to eat. Check for Isopods in their mouths
