I like how you did your light rack. I am afraid of hanging a 60'' fixture over my tank thats mounted from the ceiling so I might try what you did. So you just used a painted piece of wood and rails?

Probably going to put my dosing pump on the small left shelf and the wires/electronics on the right side.

Yeah, I used the metal piping from the plumbing section. They had two foot pipes that were threaded on both ends so I had someone at home depot cut off the tip of one end. I still need to find some type of end cap since it isnt the cleanest cut. They have these threaded circle plates that I screwed into the wood with 4 screws each. I then just screwed the pipe into the circle plate.

Great build so far, I love those Tech tanks, too bad they don't make them anymore. What bulb combo are you running?

Thanks, I really love the look of rimless tanks but Im really liking having the black euro brace. It hides the water really well and gives me a place to set things down when working in the tank which I've never had before.

On mine if I could change one thing it would be the overflow. I would drill the back and do a ghost type overflow. The existing one is just plain too large. That is my only gripe though. I also love the eurobracing.

Yeah it is huge but I think I'll be ok with it till my next upgrade. What lighting do you have over yours?

So my AquaMaxx rocks have been submerged for about 4 days now and I just tested for phosphates. I was expecting them to be pretty high. Does it normally just take a while for the phosphates to leach out?

Added an Apex, added egg crate stands for my refugium and skimmer, and cleaned up all the wiring this weekend. Just bought some dosing pumps from BRS to be controlled by my Apex. Im going to try plumbing my chiller in this week.

Hit the 2 week mark of cycling the tank. I've been using Microbacter 7 and ghost feeding to help with the process. Ammonia and nitrates have been at 0 for a week. I decided to add my favorite fish to the tank first. He's been in quarantine for a month. He doesn't have the super vibrant juvenile colors anymore but he's super healthy and I picked him up for a good price.

I ordered a flame hawk that should be in within a week. I've got a QT setup and ready to go. Besides that I have 2 wyoming white clownfish, a tailspot blenny, and a dragon face pipe fish I will be transferring from my current tank. I'll probably grab a few wrasses and a mandarin dragonet in about a year.

Do it man! Mine is probably going to have the nice colors for another year or so Im guessing. I actually still really like the patterns when they get older though so I'll keep him till he outgrows the tank.
