Recommend a light for 7" Frag tank

Hey guys im setting up a 7" tall frag tank (appr. 6" of water) and was wondering what type of light I should hang as to not burn up the corals.

Thanks for any suggestion/ experiences!

I'd say something adjustable, LED is what I am doing on my shallow tank. DIY set up.

Im also thinking of a DIY LED. My tank is 40" X 20" X 7" and I would like to get away with only 1 unit if I can.

Where are you getting your kit from?

What is the foot print of the frag tank? Depending on the foot print, I would think 2-4 T5 bulbs would be perfect. Leds would be ok as well. But with a tank that shallow you won't be able to enjoy the shimmer lines.

its 40 x 20 x 7

Yea Ive been looking at some T5's, just not sure if it would be better in the long run to just do LED's and save on bulbs in the future.

mines 40x16x12
Went with rapidled solderless kit, 36 led's no optics. 24 royal blue, 12 cool whites. Whites will probably be 10-15% more intense than the royal blues.
I have 5 blue to 3 white over my display running at the same output and love the looks. And get good growth from it too. But ymmv.
