SeaChem aquavitro salinity?

Is anyone running this in the SPS dominate tank, doing a new setup and considering trying it.

Thoughts / opinions

Thanks

Love it. It just leaves residue in the mixing bucket. Parameters are pretty damn close to where I want to keep my tank 8.5 alk 450 Cal 1400 Mg. My best advice I can give you is choose a salt with parameters closest to what you planning on running your tank at. It pays off in the long run. You dont want to have a 7.5 dkh tank that your doing Water Changes on with 12 dkh salt. No faster way to cause your corals to turn on you.

What about cloudiness? Does it mix clear? That seemed to be the biggest knock on it i saw.

I used it on my 22g with great results. It mixes clear, but some residue left behind. I would mix for 24hrs with a pump and air pump (bubbler).
Here's a pic I took before I upgraded to a larger tank.

Crappy iPhone pics.

For me I have to let it sit a couple hours to clear up. I make water days before I use it anyways so it’s not an issue for me. Results and parameters are much more important for me
