Time line of my setup (pics)

Here is the final watertest after resealing my first tank!

reseal went great, here is the shelving unit and light mounts I made for the tank

Final setup on the shelve. Little deco so the girlfriend is happy

Nice pic of the lighting units. Reef breeders super luxe x 2

Full setup and base rock in place

Mixing first batch of salt ever. I know I'm dumb to be excited lol

Redoing sump and it decided to break so used another 20 long

That is a little time line of where I'm currently at with pictures!

not at all!! just remember your initial excitement when you experience your first diatoms. it makes the tank look so ugly but it's temporary.

Actually no its a store bought stand. It's oak. Not near as sturdy as I would like, but it looks very nice. It came with the tank when I bought it

Haha can't wait. I will just be glad to have a tank up and running. I'm just as excited to see movement from the CUC as I am to see fish and corals. I am going to enjoy every bit of it

Just an update.. ordered a gfo reactor, an auto top off controller and pump, a wave maker and my sump should be cured! Packages are coming in daily and when they all arrive I will start the cycle. Don't worry there will be pics to come!

Looking good, even though my tank is only like 8 months old I will be relocating in about 5 months and have decided to plan out and gather all the equipment for a fresh set up at the new house. I'll be following along.

Added everything to the tank and turned everything on just to find out I need about 1 gallon more for it to run smoothly. Making RODI water as we speak.

Excuse the sandstorm water, but everything is running very smoothly now.

Removed the old sand. It was just too fine and I couldn't see any progression. This is only one night after removal.
