sps hardiness?

Alright so someone on my local forums is selling a haunted mansion mini-colony that i really want, but i am worried that it will not be very hardy, and i would hate to spend the money to get it then it dies. So i was looking for input from people who have this coral as to how it is doing in their tank

Thanks,
Stephen

is 'haunted mansion' an Acropora?

In general, if you provide SPS the proper environmental conditions they can be amazingly hardy........

Nope, i am hopefully picking it up tonight and i will try and get picks up then. It is really a beautiful piece that a local reefer has grown out, he has 11+ years of salt water experience so i am hoping i can keep it alive and growing...

just be sure to ask him how he has been keeping it! If it was doing well in his tank and you can mirror his system, (placement in tank for waterflow, light, etc) and that should improve your chances

bahaha it amazes me the names come up with to make corals seem more apealing/exotic. Do show pics (of ANY haunted mansion....I mean when I think haunted mansion I dont neccessarily think colorful and attractive so I'm curious what the interpretation is).
