Which device are you attempting to connect to?
What is the device firmware, and WiFi firmware if P4/Mitras ?

That behavior is as expected then.
You’ll need to perform both a ProfiLux 4 and WiFi firmware update first to allow GHL Connect app communication.

PL4 FW = 7.08 or >
WiFi FW = 6512 or >

You’ll find the latest version of GCC in the downloads section where you found the GHL Connect app.

Ok I down loaded the latest version of ghl control center. Then clicking firmware update then checking the i understood settings box and continue . It say "firmware update via network not possible connect device directly over usb resp rs232??

I have the p4 connected via usb cord directly to the computer obviously I'm doing something wrong

Not unless you've setup the WiFi on the P4 and set it as the default connection. In that case, you need to set the default connection to be the USB connection.

1. Open GCC and click ADMINISTRATE.
2. Check the box that belongs to the USB P4 connection.
NOTE: If you have the box Establish standard connection automatically... selected, GCC will automatically connect to the default connection as soon as GCC is opened.
