Looking for 175w MH Suggestions for a Mag Ballast

BLUF: Need 175w mougle MH similar to Phoenix for magnetic ballast

I have what I believe is a PFO ballast. It's in the same case my PFO M80 ballast is in for my Radiums, but is a 175w mag ballast. My 250w Radium is roasting corals in the tank, so I need to step down in intensity. I'm looking for color similar to my Phoenix 150w on my Solana running off of a Coralvue electronic ballast. It's for a frag tank that will be filled with Montis and other similar SPS, the odd acro or 2, some zoas and a few LPS. The tank is a 40 breeder and I"m using a lumenarc reflector, so depth penetration isn't really a concern. I want appealing color and modest to outstanding growth. I'm expecting modest, but who doesn't want outstanding growth? I'm looking for something between a Radium and a Phoenix, but can handle more blue if required.

What height is your halide on our solana? I would raise the 250w or lower the other.
Unless you give more details....
175w mag ballast...

The light above the solana is about 8" from the water's surface. The light above the 40 breeder is a little higher, but not much. The 250w is just too intense. A 175w will be plenty with a proper reflector, but the color is something I need to nail down. I don't know what other details are needed... I have a magnetic ballast and I"m looking for a 175w mogul bulb that is colored like a 150w phoenix when it's run on an electronic ballast.

Oops, I misunderstood sorry. Late night...

Would you be against a couple screens or raising the light a bit?
I'm no help, I don't have any 175w bulbs so I'll shut up now.

Haha, no worries.

I'd have to raise it a lot to make it safe. It's not hanging, so raising it is difficult and not something I want to mess with. Screens would be my first go-to if I didn't have the 175w ballast on hand, but I'd rather do it the proper way given the equipment on hand.

Have you looked at different bulb options on Sanyay's site?

Nope, I forgot about that resource. I'll get with the google machine and try to track it down. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ooops...I should have included the link.

The Compare MH Lamps is a great resource, you can check the par and overlapping graphs to help find something close to what you like.

Damn, I can't get the graph to work out. I get an error after selecting the bulbs.

I get the same error message on three different browsers, it looks like it is on their end.
