Royal exclusive vs Deepwater

Hi.
I look new pump for mu new system.
First i want ecotech vectra s.
Later, I saw in the news, that royal exclusive presented new rad dragon pump 5 eco 25 watt.
I decided to buy it.
Yesterday, i search some information or review about this red dragon pump, and find this.
Deepwater Aquatics BLDC5 DC Brushless Pump.
I don’t understand, why these pumps (and controllers, and manuals) are similar.
Sorry for my English

While the pump may look similar from the exterior, you’ll find differences both in performance and quality to be what you’re accustomed to from a Royal Exclusiv product.

Great question -

Simple answer is:
At the target price point of this pump, we simply could not build it in house with our usual controller, suppliers and processes.

The pump and controller look similar in physical appearance due to the fact that Royal Exclusiv has commissioned a pump manufacturer to build the RD5 Eco pump to our strict specifications for performance, noise and quality.

The pump housing is used by multiple pumps in the industry, however does not imply that every model is identical, and performs the same.

We use a high quality Mean Well Power Supply, include Sch80 fittings, titanium hardware, 2 year warranty, etc.

While the RD5 Eco Pump has a much lower price point than our RD3 Pumps, it’s a great Royal Exclusiv Pump with the same Service and Quality.

One more question.
What about noise level RD5?
For RD3 its 32dB (from datasheet RD3)

AC-DC adapter great too, heavy, aluminum. I like it=)
