Clown won't settle

I picked up a Ocellaris Clown (Amphiprion ocellaris) and put him in my 65g. He's been in there for about a week but can't seem to find a spot to sleep. He's up fighting the current, and it looks exhausting. Has anyone seen this behavior? Maybe he/she just needs some time? There's plenty of LR and space for him/her to find a nice spot.

I have 3 b/g chromis, and a midas blenny. They all get a long very well.

If it is a captive bred clown they don't settle or pick out a spot in the tank like wild ones do. They just keep roaming around almost constantly. I had a snowflake occ in my old 36 gallon and that guy was out swimming 24-7.

Maybe he/she is looking for a partner? My pair of clownfish hang out together almost constantly. Wherever the female goes, the male is not far behind.

I second this. When they are in pairs they tend to settle in one spot/territory...singles tend to swim around all over the place.

Yea, more likely to settle with a pair. My single, captive bred, clown would always roam the tank. Adding a second, captive bred, they paired up and stick to the left side rockwork and sleep there.
