This tank is stunning. I'm paying close attention, as you are doing something right to be able to feed that much food, have great looking corals, and not have a nightmare algae problem!

That is 1 of the most unique and beautiful tanks I've seen yet. Kudos.

Holy Cow! That is really a unique tank! Congratulation! And everything looks very healthy. Definately, a candidate for TOTM!

that's an absolutely stellar tank! Not only is it laid out very nicely, but it's a relatively rare biotope, especially considering the level of success you're having and the size of the project.

I am glad there are some that enjoy the sun corals.
Now I am trying to get some more interesting dendros and rhizos. There are 9 rhizos and a few black and greenish branching sun corals so far. The tank is AkvaStabil: 160x55x45cm which gives about 550l. The sump is very simple, does not have any dividers. There is some of the live rock there, and the earlier mentioned filters. I will take a few pfotos of it later this week when I tidy it up a bit. The tank may be clean but the sum is just the opposite I have managed to take a few snaps of fish today. I have to practice a bit more as the fish keep disappearing when I try to take a picture of them... Many thanks |

Have you thought about producing your own food? Perhaps various seafood that's been diced up? Certainly 40 cubes a day of mysis/brine is not overly cheap?
Would the sun corals be happy with that? |

The yellow and blue colors in your tank is a awesome combo. It really makes everything stand out. I think it's cool.

Man, how much does that cost a day to feed? Isn't 40 cubes around $6? That's over 2K a year just for food!

What kind of sponges do you have in there and have you seen them grow any since you added them?
