Reef safe epoxy coating
I'm looking to make a custom plywood storage container for my tank. Basically it would function as an external sump. What reef safe epoxy coatings do you guys recommend?

West Systems...There’s others just can’t recall off the top of my head.

Yup, pond shield would be the cheapest and easiest way. Plenty of videos on how to use too.

Liquid Rubber
I used liquid rubber for the membrane then used Pentair epoxy paint for the outer membrane. Six coats of each. For a 400 gallon plywood build.

I used West Systems. Designed for wooden boat hulls. Tank has been in use for almost 25 years with one move in the middle and still no leaks. Get their dispenser pumps they are cheap and insure proper mixing.
