amquel in QT?

If amonia starts to become an issue in a QT tank, is it ok to add amquel? I was reading this article and it mentioned to add amquel daily??????

It should be fine, but the only other thing I would be concerned about is mixing medications. Sometimes they don't go well together. So if you plan to treat with prazipro or an ich medication you might run into issues there. I'm not sure what interacts with each other, but I'm sure others on here do.

If you're using Cupramine, then it's not a good idea to use Amquel. If you're using chelated or ionic copper, you won't have an issue using it.

FWIW, I use it daily between water changes when the filter is getting established, and have yet to have any issues with it.

Thanks, I dosed prazipro about 6 days ago as a precaution. One of my anthias was breathing kind of hard and ended up dying. The other ones seem to be doing fine.

Do you think I should dose for ICH? I don't see anything on the others but I'm worried maybe the anthia had ich in his gills or something that killed him. I'm keeping an eye the others but wanted to finish the 7 days of Prazipro before doing a water change and treating for ich. Do I need a second dose of prazipro? Any advice?
