JK I would guess that he has a sickness that is no yet determined. Dose he have any spots? Dose he look normal? If he looks good then I would test the water and make sure he is eating, if hes not eating then you have a big problem. ---Good Luck---

I have had the fish for four days and did a partial water change yesterday. I tested the water the ph is 8.2, sg is 1.023 and it was 1.022 yesterday he is resting at the bottom now. I use a aquarium pharmasuticals filter on my tap water.

Dude, when I first stated in this hobby it seemed like everything died for unknown reasons. Now it seems like fish or even coral never die in my tank.
Do you have other fish? How are they acting, and how long have you had them? |

Are you buying tank raised clowns or True perc's. You damsel is a tank and will live through anything. I agree with sticking to damsels until you get more use to the hobby. they are cheap and cool to watch fight and eat. Your tank does need to age more, and you may want to try water from the LFS or make your own with RO/DI water instead of using tap.
