also what about cal build up between the prop and housing, how will that effect the longvintivity? I understand how often you clean the pump will help.

We made a couple of videos showing different flow possibilities. The flow is quite wide but has enough force to reach 5ft + and create a full tank gyre from one pump with full power. The tank in the video is roughly 5 by 2 by 2. The flow is different from anything else I have seen as the prop is very large both in width and length and spins at a slightly slower speed, the motor is also unique in that it very smoothly speeds up and down and unlike our older pumps cannot go to off for wavemode, it is instead 5% to 100%. It cannot go to off as to start it has to run a preprogrammed start up sequence which takes a couple seconds as the motor slowly spins up but it can very smoothly speed up and down.

Thanks for the reply, this is great as my upgrade is gonna be a 5' x 3', so 2 of these should work great.
