I've used it plenty for several years. I regularly dose probiotic bacteria and this is one of them.

I just think that it keeps a good biodiversity of beneficial bacteria in the tank to help break down nutrients. I don't specifically believe in a monoculture but I do believe that some of the weaker bacteria strains would die off.

So not using it now? Can one solely rely on this or should I also do carbon?

Doesn't Vodka lower nutrients on their own? Thanks

I do use it but right now I'm using Prodbio.

Vodka dosing feeds the bacteria found in microbacter7 and others.
