Just bought a 10 QT tank now what?
Ok I am going to start Quarantining my fish and have a clownfish from my 30 gallon tank that needs to be Quarantined for ich. I was looking at buying some Cupramine since I dont have a refractometer for the hyposalinty method.
The clownfish shows no signs of ich but he was in a tank with his mated clownfish who got it and died. Should I just dose it like it says on the bottle? |

What are some good meds that I can dose for new fish as a pre-caution?

You can dose like it says on the bottle, but you'll need a copper test kit to ensure you're using it right....copper has a narrow therapeutic range, anything below won't stop the lifecycle of the parasite, too far above, and the fish will suffer.
