Solenoid for fuge shutoff
I am looking for a solenoid to shut off feed to my remote fuge in case the drain gets plugged. No room for a backup emergency drain. 1/2 " feed line. Apex can control this via a EB8 to cycle it on and off. So 120V, 1/2" in and out, for use with salt water. Im not looking for a cheapo.. I need one thats reliable. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure a solenoid valve is the proper way to go. We have some actuated gate and ball valves at work that would likely be more suited for the job.
I'd think you would want an actuated ball valve. Solenoid valves rely on plungers but once the seats get dirty they won't seal. Actuated ball valves in the normally open position don't have the moving surfaces exposed while open. https://pvcpipesupplies.com/12in-hay...tb1050ste.html
