Valentini Pufferfish with Sea Star??
I've been wanting a sand shifting starfish for a little bit now, but I have a Valentini puffer. I have seen her eat snails, and I think I saw her eat a hermit crab once (but I don't think she has had any since, because I have a few in plain sight, so I think she didn't like them) and a possible emerald crab (cause of death was not known so that isn't for sure) I don't want my starfish to die if I get it, but I really hope they leave them alone. Is it really based on the individual fish's temperament? Or is it just species in general. Also, would an emerald crab eat it/would it eat emerald crab? That is easily fixable because I can move my crab into the snail tank I'm going to set up (so I can feed the puffer) Thank you!

Hi, these fishs are really fun to keep but to do so you must be ready to say good bye to any inverts. I never had a starfish with a puffer but my guess is the starfish wont last long.
Good luck and be careful the valentinis are jumpers, i lost 2 that way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
