Lighting for 65G

I’m just getting back into the hobby from a year and half break

I have a 65G corner drilled Deep Blue tank, measures 36” length, 18” width, 24” tall

I plan on fish only, with LPS, leathers , mushrooms, easy stuff

No canopy. So mounting is important, how they will mount

Suggestions?

You can hang a Mars Aqua from the ceiling. They are only $165 for the 300w model.
Cheers! Mark

Daddi0 is right if you are looking for inexpensive. And you could also do brackets off the wall behind the tank or make brackets from metal conduit that attach to the back of the stand, come up from behind the tank and do a big upside down U to hang the fixture(s).

Or look around for a fixture that has legs. You might look at this post for more help:

I use Reef Breeders Photon V2 fixtures. They have way more features than the Mars Aqua so they are more expensive. And they are slim and streamline so they look way better as well. But none of that has any effect on the coral in the tank. All the extras are for looks and human consumption. They both will keep coral healthy and growing.

I'm sorry it's really not about a budget,
But it's more about what the light will be used for.

My last tank I had 2x Kessile A360WE on my heavy SPS Reefer 250.

I took a break from the hobby for the last year and a 1/2 as I've done this several times throughout the years.
I've used the Chinese LEDs, Reef Breeders, Kessils etc in the past.

This time I've gone back into the hobby trying to keep it more budget friendly. I bought a rimmed tank, vs rimless.
Built my own stand, spent some money on a acrylic sump, ATO and other things.

If this was a rimless tank I would probably just throw some Hydra 26, or Kessils on it. So it has a sleek look.

But I'm trying to.keep this build alittle more budget friendly, because it seems I last a year to a year and a half and get out of the hobby again due to life being busy.

This time I'm really trying to be fully committed

The mounting options are the part I'm struggling with.

I'm paying $350 more to go up said a reef breeders for lights I necessarily don't need for LPS all the men just the looks.

I have no problem starting a tank off with the Chinese lights however mountain them has always been an issue they never really came up with a good way to mount them, other then bending some conduit over the tank from.behind, or hanging them from a shelf/ceiling.

The SB Reef Lights have legs on them. They are reasonable priced.

Thanks, I don't need lights anytime soon, I'm still cycling the rock in a bin

I'm still trying to decide between them and the Mars Aqua or any of the Chinse line, just can't figure out how to mount them
