Osmolator 5017 2011 sensor failure
Help/Oops!
My 5017, made in 03-2011 (according to the sticker) has suffered a sensor failure. Stopped working in the same way I've read from many others, where it fails to detect low water, with the green light just staying solid green. Pulling the sensor from the magnet holder, the clear tip pulled off :/ Image attached. Can I order a replacement sensor wire from somewhere? Soldering the 4x wires inside is not an issue for me. Thanks! Craig |

That is an older sensor version. The sensor is $28.80, it will have a plug on the end you have to cut off and solder the wires directly to the board. Since 2015 the sensors just plug in. We do solder them in at no charge, the only additional expense is shipping it in. PM me if you want to order it and I will get you set up.
