Well, I had a little setback, I installed an in line Check Valve and apparently it was restricting the flow way back and it was trickling over to the return, so I cut it off and luckily I was able to use a lighter to melt it to make malleable enough to cut and peel off. I was able to preserve the pipe underneath to put a coupler on it. Phew!! lucky I didn't have to redo all the return. Wished I had used threaded fitting.

Much better flow.

Finally wet! Landscape is pretty minimalistic. Consist of 1 Large piece of Dry Rock with 3 caves the forms bridges on top, and some dry rock in the back around the over flow. Going to lace Zoas around the bridges, Some yumas and dendros around the base, And larger Paly's around the edges. Already have some nice Hammers, a Fluorescent green toadstool, and torch, that's going in here as well.
Going to put easy to keep SPS in here and maybe only a few pieces.

Looks great! How do you like that light over it? Mine has been cycling with just ambient light for the last 2 months. I haven't settled on a light yet.

Rob -

I am debating on ordering the exact same tank. Can you tell me the part number of the 32mm to 1 inch and 15mm to 1/2 inch that you got from flexpvc .com?

Thanks
Minh

Thanks Rob. I am also curious how the skimmer is working for you. Did you get the PLS-150?

The skimmer is good, it was overflowing in the beginning, I believe it was due to low nutrients in the water, but now the tank is getting a little mature and its running like a champ.

I heard that SC Aquarium sells the same tanks from who made CADLight for a lower price. I like that sump except it takes all the spaces and no room for ATO reservior.

Sorry to add to this hijack, but they are NOT the same. The overflow boxes on the tanks from SC Aquarium are square where Cadlights' are shaped like a hexagonal that's been cut in half. The teeth on the SC overflows also look jagged like they were cut on a table saw. I much prefer the look of the Cadlights' overflow.

Laguna Max Flo 1350, awesome pump... low heat and very quite. I wished it got a little hotter, wanted to avoid adding a heater. During the summer the tank never went above 82, but recently dipped down to 75, and just dropped a heater in the sump.
