top tank frame
Has anyone made their own top tank frame? I'm looking at a tank that needs a top frame and was wondering how to go about making one. Any ideas?

You can buy stainless steel angle and have it welded professionally, You can even have it power coated and install it on your tank from top down.

If you haven't already thought of this, some tank manufacturers do sell replacement braces.

I bought a top frame to go my 180 cost me I think it was $125 for it I don't really like the look of stainless or aluminum rims on tanks makes it look like it is an old tank. If it is aluminum it will oxidize and get that green patina look I use it on my lights with a open tank and it turned it green I bought the stock from Home Depot
