Mg very high, not dosing it though

Temp 77.4
Salinity 1.026
PH 7.9
KH 8.2
Ca 500
Mg 1800
No3 4
Po4 0.2

My magnesium stays constant around 1700 over time but I am not dosing anything but kalkwasser. I use Red Sea coral pro salt. I also dose NoPox and recently got my No3 and Po4 to 0 and held it there for about a week BUT my Mg was high before I ever started NoPox.

What could make Mg stay high? Do I need to try to lower it? I do 30% water change every 7-10 days. Am I doing to much water change? Should I do 15% water change weekly or 30% biweekly?

I would measure some freshly-mixed saltwater. Most often, high magnesium levels are caused by salt mix issues. That level is safe enough, so I wouldn't worry for now.
