6 B+, 1P+, 3 Coral+. Maybe want to get an extra B+ just in case it's too white.

...but the thing is: even if you do end up with your own personal favorite on your first try, you would still be thinking "what if..."
Most people will need to see for themselves what they like and dont like before settling with a combo.

In order to play around a little I would start with at least:

6 B+
3 C+
1 ABS
1 Actinic
1 Purple plus

...and then maybe even a single 6500K (a bulb I havent tried myself, but will include in my next order)

If you like the crispy white color, that will bring out the true deep colors of your coral, look into the Big E (a noted SPS guru on here) formula for lighting. He uses equal parts B+ and C+ for his lighting and his results are astonishing. This is the bulb combination I intend to use for my SPS tank.

If you really like a crisp white try mixing in a 6500K and a pair of purple+. The balance should be mostly blue+ with maybe an additional coral+ and the option of actinic bulbs on the Dawn and dusk channel.

Crispy white is such a dubious term. One persons crisp white is another persons dawn dusk blue. One persons 20k is downright yellow to another. I like a very warm spectrum. My 14k halides are very blue compared to my t5ho combo.

I ran:
2 giesemann 6500k
3 blue+
1 true actinic
1 coral+
1 purple+.

If I had kept the fixture until next bulb change I’d have swapped the coral+ and purple+ for another 6500k and another true actinic for
3 - 6500k
3 - blue+
2 - true actinic.

That would be roughly equivalent to a 10k metal halide in appearance with a pair of
Blue+ supplements. Probably a lot lower kelvin than you’re after.

I’m betting 5 blue+ 5 coral+ would get you right where you need to be. If that’s too white, then sub in a couple true actinic in place of a couple coral+

I plan to start with the 50/50 Blue + and Coral + myself. Will augment actinic via LEDs.
