Complete newbie

I would like to start on a smaller tank with just coral
and base material to learn the rudiments of cycling then move onto adding coral etc.
What size do i start on remembering that i will move onto a much larger tank when the basics are learnt.

You can start with basically any size...
But..the smaller the tank the quicker parameters can swing/change..
Larger water volumes require more of a change to impact them..

This site really doesnt have the best laid out learning material so I might suggest learning from things like YouTube videos like bulkreefsupply 52 weeks of reefing series..
