Question How to get rid of Hydroid Jellyfish

Hey guys, i have a 50 gallon cube thats been up and running for about 2 1/2 months now. Everything was fine for the first month and a half but then I started getting these strange white dots on my glass.

I did some research and found out they are Hydroid Jellyfish. I wish I can take a picture of mine but my camera cannot focus on them very well.
Here's one I found one google.

I've had them for a month now and they are just not going away. I've read they will just disappear, BUT THEY HAVENT!

What can I do about this problem guys.
I think they wiped out my copepod population too because I dont see any of them anymore.

Please help me.

I'd like to know the answer to this too as I have tons! They don't really bother anything but they are unsightly on the front glass : I tried some zaptasia as I was zapping some aiptasia and that seems to work... but there are WAY too many to do this to.

They should die off in a month or few

I had a few in my tank when I set it up. They are all gone now, about four months later. All I have in the tank currently are clowns.

I have hundreds of them. Hoping also that they reduce in numbers some day! I scrape them off, within a couple days they are everywhere.

Well ever since I posted this thread, my hydroids are slowly going away. I used to clean my glass everyday, and have atleast 20-30 hydroids on ever side of the glass. Now I have like maybe 1-2 every week. So I see them dying off slowly.

Also, a few of my fish even eat them every now and then. My wrasse, chromis, blenny, and anthias will pick at them when I feed.

I agree with everyone else. When I first set up my tank there were hundreds of them. Even real tiny ones so I thought they were breeding. But 2 months later I cannot find a single one. My clownfish would try them and spit the back out, my bangaii never touched them, but they are gone and that's all that matters now.
