Anemone problem

Add my anemone an hour ago to edge of the rock. It decided to do this. How do I get it out and should I worry? How long before I go and make it move and best way to do so

If you just got it and it moved into the rockwork its likely adjusting to your lights. I would not go after it.

Leave it be, it looks fine and can stretch into light as needed

I agree with the others.
That's normal anemone behavior, let it find it's happy place--it has the run of the tank, not you.

Another one for leave it be, if everything else is in check it will come out when it's ready.

Technically a nem doesn't need fed, they can get all they need from light provided they aren't bleached which yours doesn't appear to be from what little can be seen. Feeding is more a personal preference but it will grow faster if fed.

No problem, with what free time I get I'm always researching and reading something and try to learn a little more everyday.

I have over a hundred, started with 1 and never feed a single one.

Light gives them all they really need

My RBTA did that exact same thing.. and I asked the same question on here... and was given the same advice... even though I wanted to save my Lil nem.. and was worried it would die (mine ways WAY under the rock... no light to be found)
I followed everyone's advice... though I badly wanted to go on a search and rescue mission...

It took a while... Maybe 2 months... but she finally came out into the open a week or 2 ago...
A bit bleached... but overall ok...
I've been feeding it every day since she was a bit bleached.. but she is recovering nicely.. regaining color.. and now has her bubbles again..

Sorry for the long story..

Agreed with above.. let it do its thing.. if you move it.. it will prolly move itself right back under the rocks until IT is ready to come out.

You came to the same conclusion I did. Once mine came out I fed it a bit by bit till it got its color back. I will argue though that while you dont NEED to feed them I've noticed mine won't outright kill/eat/attempt to eat my fish if I feed it (rip lawnmower blenny) just watch out if it decides to float around you will wanna cover your power heads. Good luck!

Even if you move it, it will quickly move itself again. They will move around the tank until they find where they want to be. You can't control it no matter what you do

Also if fed it won't try and eat your livestock in my experience at least.

OP correct me if I'm wrong but that appears to be a bta which isn't likely to eat any livestock or at least I've never heard anyone mention a bta eating livestock. Carpets are notorious for it though.
