Fragging meteor shower

Well my one inch frag of meteor shower has overgrown the plug and has grown over the rock I attached the plug to. The question is, is it possible to frag such a thick piece of live rock? It's about 3-5 inches thick. Anyone have ideas of what to use?

I usually use my Inland but there is a guy in my area who literally just breaks it up with a screwdriver and a hammer then glues the pieces to disks. seems to work great for him. Cyphastrea is pretty tough stuff.
