The tank volume is 1350ltrs and i'm dosing 750ml of Essentials, as well as 1ml of vanadium and iodine a day but thats it. Apart from syphoning the sump out occasionally i don't do water changes and i've only changed around 15% water volume in a year. The
corals are loving the ATI Essentials and i'm regularly having to prune them as some are growing too fast.

Just awesome!!
I have to bring these photos to this page because they are so awesome but your blues are absolutely astounding!
The corals have none of that pale low nutrient look to them. Such nice rich colours.
Where do your n and p stay?
I really had no idea that ati had a system like Fauna etc.. interesting.
Feel free to post more shots and vids anytime!!

Looks awesome! I'm contemplating an 8' myself. Comments on your tank flow (power heads) size of overflow, rock work? Looks very healthy!

Awesome tank! What is your lighting schedule and flow like? How long has the tank been set up?

You've nailed it!

I'm looking to start ATI essentials on my new 200L and would love to achieve even a small fraction of this.

Are Iodine and Vanadium additions a constant requirement? Is this just a discrepancy in the Essentials formula that that will change depending on uptake via inhabitants- and do you have an idea which stock is causing this (clams?)

Finally, do you ever frag or attended meet ups in London?

Many Thanks

Thanks alot.. i have played around with flow quite a bit and have settlesd on 1x gyre 150 1x pantha rhei from the right side and an mp60 and jecod RW20 on the left. As the corals grow its harder to get an all round good flow through the centre of the tank. Weir is twin stand pipe with gate valve. Rock work is all live rock from previous systems, some over 10 years old.

Thank you... tank is coming on 2 years... The ATI hybrids are on for around 12hrs ramping up and down on the leds to 80% on my own colour settings, T5's just switch straight on and are on for around 8 hours. Flow i have mentioned above^^

Thanks Hugo.. ATI Essentials are really great they really do a great job at supplying what the corals need, Iodine and vanadium i have to dose around 7ml a week although thats slowed down recently as iodine has been rising.. but thats about it. The levels in Essentials are set to suit general mixed reefs so highly lit tanks etc will need iodine additions, vanadium is also as it gets depleted easily. I do occasionally add a few litres of NSW for maintenance like cleaning the sump etc but haven't changed more than 15% in over a year.

I would like to get more involved in the London reef clubs but i don't see many running meets anymore ?
