I forgot to post some pics of the used HOB refugium I got. LED is 4 Deep Red and 1 Royal Blue. Chaeto grows fast with this.

Looking good on the fuge. How's the flow on that DC pump?

The pump is only rated at 65 gph with a max head of 1.9 meters. I have it at a head of about 5 feet. I think it works great. I wouldn't use it to fill the tank but to top off 1/4 gallon every now and then, it works wonderful.

Thanks you. I think it more of a children's picture book, but it gets the process out there.

What driver did you go with on your fuge lights?

Wow. Impressive skill.

Where did you order your LEDs and drivers from?

nice build! Are those standard coil relays you used for the power control? Did you consider SSRs & if so, why did you choose one over the other?

I don't believe these are solid state. I went with these because they were low cost, compact size, and easy to connect with arduino. So far, I am very happy with them. I thought they might be to noisy to run my wavemaker with the turning on/ every minute or so. Since they are in my enclosure, you have to really pay attention to hear them.

These are rated for 15 amps and I use them for my 12vdc power supply

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...lue=RadioShack

And these are the ones that I used on my DIY LDD board to connect everything on it. I believe they are rated for 30 amps.

I think you would be fine either way. My main power supply is 48VDC 5.3A.

Thanks. The PSU and Controller is a must have in my opinion. I never had one on a reef before and I don't think I would have another without one. The LEDs are the greatest also.

Talking Porcelain Crab

Wow! Your obvious attention to detail makes my heart throb!
This is a delicious build!
I was so excited by the time I made it to the end of the details you shared.
Thank you for sharing! We need more of your kind in the hobby!

That's great footage! I love to watch closeups of livestock going about their daily routine. Thanks so much for sharing. Detailed footage is always a big plus in my reefing book.
Maybe one day I'll be able to buckle down and return the favor

Your tank is looking great and glad to see you and the family enjoying it. I have a question about the jarduino sketch. Are you using the default lighting schedule? Have you had any issues with running the lights all day. like algae growth or increased coral growth. I finally finished my fixture and the controller running lights only at this time. Thanks for the help.
