Average cost for a 300g tank?

I have a wild hair and want to buy another tank. I was offered a 300g new glass aquarium with dual corner overflow box. What is the average price for something like that in the USA?

No thrills, non custom, glass aquarium drilled for dual overflows.

I could not imagine spending 10k on a basic rectangle glass aquarium. I remember seing an awesome curved 'S' 180g setup for 6.5k. However, that had everything.

Thanks for the info.

I think if I can get the price down a few hundred I will be getting a great deal.

Thanks for the link. It was ~1200-1500 for a similar tank. So I am in the ballpark..

Glass cages is the lowest quality tank you'll find around and there prices are way cheaper than a descent tank you should be purchasing...

Yeah but every single lfs (San Antonio, tx) has their tanks a little lower than glass cages website, and every single miracles built states they were higher than glass cages, but not by much

Relax, no one said " purchase a glass cages tank"

Simply use it for ballpark figure, as a baseline if you will. Plus I also us it compare all sizes of tanks when reading threads.

you can pick them up all day long on craigslist usually a better deal on acrylic ones though

usually 500-1500 and very nice and a lot of the time with equipment included.....just look for the deals and be patient ...they are there

Good information. I will keep looking around or see if they are willing to drop the price some.

Now, I have a good idea of the price to pay. Going to be my first big tank! Woohoo

Thanks everyone!

Look at marine land 300 DD tanks, pretty much the largest commercially available tank there is, which means the cheapest u can get it at. About 3k here in Canada.
