Maxi-Jet "Sure Flow" upgrade question.

Has anyone tried using the "Sure-Flow" upgrade for there maxi jets on a wavemaker?

Not the "Eco Mod" one, but the Sure flow one (comes with two sizes of impellers).

I am curious how they handle the start/stop. Concerned about noise and starting backwards.

exactly my question--i recently bought 4 maxi 1200 with upgrade impellers connected to a red sea wavemaker---so far they have not done well starting and stopping---have had 2 to quit totally---would appreciate more helpful info on this
